SINGAPORE share prices opened higher on Thursday with the Straits Times Index (STI) up 8.7 points or 0.25 per cent to 3,461.87 as at 9.01am.Top gainers in early-morning trade included Great Eastern Holding, DBS Group Holdings and Challenger.
Some 41.8 million shares worth S$61.3 million changed hands, with gainers outnumbering losers 88 to 44.
