SGX Stock Recommendations : Epic Research Singapore

MARKET UPDATES :

• The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 3.53 points or 0.10% lower to 3459.57, taking the year-to-date performance to +2.81%.

• The top active stocks today were Singtel, which declined 0.69%, CapitaLand, which gained 0.86%, Ezion, which declined 4.64%, Keppel Corp, which gained 0.34% and Genting Sing, with a 1.05% advance.

• The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.10%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.48%.

• The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Health Care Index, which rose 2.10%. The two biggest stocks of the Index – Raffles Medical Group and Biosensors International Group – closed unchanged and 2.56% higher respectively.

• The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Basic Materials Index, which slipped 1.30%. Midas Holdings shares declined 2.63% and Geo Energy Resources declined 1.01%.

• The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were : IS MSCI India (+0.81%) , SPDR Gold Shares (+0.84%) , STI ETF (unchanged)

• The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value were : CapitaLand Mall Trust (unchanged) , Ascendas REIT (unchanged) , CapitaLand Commercial Trust (+0.30%)

• The most active index warrants by value today were : HSI28200MBeCW150629 (-21.08%) , HSI27000MBePW150629 (+8.38%) , HSI26200MBePW150629 (+13.33%)

• The most active stock warrants by value today were : KepCorp MBeCW150901 (+1.16%) , DBS MB eCW151001 (+2.48%) , SingTelMBeCW160603 (-2.70%)
