MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 0.18 points or 0.01% higher to 3439.86, taking the year-to-date performance to +2.22%.
- The top active stocks today were Global Logistic, which gained
2.92%, Singtel, which gained 0.47%, Suntec REIT, which gained 1.11%,
Wilmar Intl, which gained 3.36% and CapitaLand, with a 0.28% advance.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.05%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.49%.
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST
Health Care Index, which rose 1.97%. The two biggest stocks of the Index
– Raffles Medical Group and Biosensors International Group – ended
2.87% higher and 1.90% higher respectively.
- The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Technology Index, which
slipped 4.26%. Silverlake Axis shares de- clined 8.05% and STATS ChipPAC
remained unchanged.
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today
were : DBXT iBoxx Korea ETF (+0.35%) , CIMB FTSE Asean40 (+2.76%) , IS
MSCI India (+0.53%)
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value
were : Suntec REIT (+1.11%) , Ascendas REIT (-0.79%) , CapitaLand
Commercial Trust (+0.61%)
- The most active index warrants by value today were :
