MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 10.32 points or 0.30% higher to 3450.18, taking the year-to-date performance to +2.53%.
- The top active stocks today were Keppel Corp, which gained 0.91%, Singtel, which gained 0.47%, Suntec REIT, which declined 0.55%, Global Logistic, which gained 0.71% and CapitaLand, with a 0.28% advance.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.20%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.33%.
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Technology Index, which rose 3.14%. The two biggest stocks of the Index – Silverlake Axis and STATS ChipPAC – ended 5.83% higher and 0.98% higher respectively.
- The under performing sector was the FTSE ST Health Care Index, which slipped 0.45%. Raffles Medical Group shares increase 0.47% and Biosensors International Group declined 0.62%.
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were : DBXT MSCI Asia Ex Japan ETF (+1.08%), Nikko Am Singapore STI ETF (+0.28%) , SPDR Gold Shares (+0.15%)
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value were : Suntec REIT (-0.55%) , Ascendas REIT (+1.20%) , CapitaLand Commercial Trust (-0.30%)
- The most active index warrants by value today were : HSI29000MBeCW150629 (+25.61%) , HSI27000MBePW150629 (-18.07%) , HSI28200MBeCW150629 (+19.55%)
