In other metals trade, July platinum PLN5, -0.05% rose $6.70, or 0.6%, to $1,115.20 an ounce, while September palladium PAU5, +0.23% gained $3.60, or 0.5%, to $743.50 an ounce.July copper HGN5, -0.16% rose 3.3 cents, or 1.2% to $2.747 a pound.
