In other metals trade, platinum for July delivery PLN5, +0.04% fell $10, or 0.9%, to $1,105.20 an ounce, while September palladium PAU5, +0.36% lost 65 cents, or 0.1%, to $742.85 an ounce.July copper HGN5, +0.22% fell 7.8 cents, or 2.8%, to $2.669 a pound, pulling back after edging higher for four straight sessions.
