THE Singapore market opened lower on Friday, with the Straits Times Index losing 35.49 points or 1.09 per cent to 3,214.03 as at 9.03am.
Some 108.0 million shares worth S$283.3 million changed hands, with losers narrowly beating gainers 69 to 61. The most actively traded stocks by value included OCBC, UOB and Global Logistic Properties, which announced their results before the market opened.
