SGX Stock Recommendations : Epic Research Singapore

MARKET UPDATES :

• The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 2.91 points or 0.09% higher to 3284, taking the year-to-date performance to – 2.41%.

• The top active stocks today were JMH USD, which closed unchanged, Singtel, which closed unchanged, DBS, which gained 0.05%,Keppel Corp, which declined 1.38% and OCBC Bank, with a 0.68% advance.

• The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index declined 0.13%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index declined 0.36%.

• The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Technology Index, which rose 0.39%. The two biggest stocks of the Index – Silverlake Axis and STATS ChipPAC – ended 0.97% higher and unchanged respectively.

• The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Utilities Index, which slipped 1.07%. China Everbright Water shares declined 0.61% and SIIC Environment Holdings declined 0.58%.

• The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were : SPDR Gold Shares (+0.45%) , STI ETF (-0.30%) , IS MSCI India (+1.35%)

• The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value were : CapitaLand Mall Trust (unchanged) , CapitaLand Commercial Trust (+0.69%) , Ascendas REIT (+0.41%)

• The most active index warrants by value today were : HSI24400MBeCW150828 (+8.90%) , HSI25400MBeCW150828 (+6.32%) , HSI27800UBeCW151127 (+2.48%)

• The most active stock warrants by value today were : OCBC Bk MBeCW151201 (+5.26%) , SGX MB eCW160105 (+8.45%) , UOB MB eCW151001 (unchanged)
