Other metals declined Friday, with September silver SIU5, +0.06% sinking 21.3 cents, or 1,5%, to $14.488 an ounce, down around 2.3% for the week.September high-grade copper HGU5, +0.19% ended little changed at $2.383 a pound, for a weekly loss of roughly 4.6%. October platinum PLV5, +0.83% fell 40 cents to $980.70 an ounce, losing 2.1% for the week, while September palladium PAU5, +1.29% climbed $4.75, or 0.8%, to $622.60 an ounce, up about 0.6% on the week.
