Civmec, the oil & gas construction and engineering services provider, says its 50-50 joint venture company with Sedgman has won a contract from BHP Billiton Iron Ore.
The project involves engineering works at the Jimblebar mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
The engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning works includes the installation of a new primary crusher and additional conveying capacity which will start immediately.
At the peak of the project, Civmec says about 270 personnel will be deployed.
The latest project brings Civmec's current order book to $260 million.
Civmec’s share price closed unchanged at 40 cents on Sept 23.
