SINGAPORE'S benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) opened on Wednesday flat at 2,786.63 points at 9.02am, down 1.31 points or 0.05 per cent, after a Tuesday afternoon rebound.US stocks stabilised by the close of trading on Tuesday after opening higher and dropping during the course of the day.
In Singapore, some 87.7 million shares worth S$210.3 million were traded, with gainers and losers evenly matched at 61:63.
Top stocks by value traded were Singtel, OCBC, DBS, UOB and Keppel.
