AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT saw its 1H distribution to unitholders increase 6.4% to $35.2 million. Distribution per unit (DPU) for 1H was up 4.3% to 5.55 cents.
Revenue rose 10.7% to $61.5 million, while net property income increased 4.3% to $40.9 million. In the last quarter, the REIT secured 13 new and renewal leases at average rental increase of 4.7% on the renewals. Occupancy rate improved to 96.5% from 96.1% for its portfolio as well.
The trust will redevelop 30 & 32 Tuas West Road which will be completed in Jan 2017. The forecast annual rental income is expected to rise four times to $4.15 million.
