IFS Capital has appointed Eugene Tan Hai Leng as group CEO and executive director from Monday in replacement of Lee Soon Kie, aged 56, who is retiring early for health reasons.
Tan, 57, has 32 years of experience in the banking industry and has held several senior positions in various banks across the Asean region, says IFS Capital.
From 1999 to 2013, Tan was with Citibank Singapore, where he helped to start the commercial banking business in Singapore and was appointed in 2007 as the managing director for commercial banking to take charge of commercial banking businesses in Asean.
IFS Capital last traded at 34 cents.
