SINGAPORE'S benchmark Straits Times Index opened higher on Monday, after Wall Street gained ground on Friday, rising 36.23 points or 1.3 per cent to 2,829.38 by 9.02am.
Some 67.7 million shares worth S$75.1 million had changed hands by then, with gainers outnumbering losers 113 to 35.
