Other metals traded on Comex ended lower. December copper HGZ5, +0.44% fell by 6.8 cents, or 2.9%, to $2.255 a pound. January platinum PLF6, +0.55% declined by $1.70, or 0.2%, to $953.10 an ounce and December palladium PAZ5, +0.86% fell $17.10, or 2.7%, to $606.30 an ounce.
