NOL, Frasers Centrepoint up on M&A talks

Neptune Orient Lines and Frasers Centrepoint are outperforming the broader market.

Container shipper NOL opened as high as $1.13, before settling at $1.085 or 3.8% higher than its closing price last Friday after saying it is in talks with two companies on a potential sale of NOL.

Meanwhile, Frasers Centrepoint was up as high as $1.69 after saying it plans to buy a 29.5% stake in Thailand's Golden Land Property this morning.

The stock is now trading at its Friday close of $1.655.

In comparison, the Straits Times Index is 0.06% higher at 3,012.1.
