Singapore will provide advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter and for 2015 at 8am on Jan 4, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Monday.
A quarterly survey by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) earlier this month showed that economists expect GDP to expand by 1.4% on a year-on-year basis in the fourth quarter, down from 1.9 per cent growth in the third quarter.
The survey showed that full-year growth for 2015 was expected to be 1.9%.
