OSIM, Singtel, SPH REIT, Keppel, GLP

The following stocks may be in focus today:

OSIM International's CEO and founder, Ron Sim, has raised his offer to buy the remaining 30.75% stake in the company he and his family do not own to $1.39 a share from $1.32 a share. The final offer price represents a premium of about 38.8% and 40.6% to the volume-weighted average price a share for the corresponding one-month and three-month periods up to and including Feb 29 2016, respectively.

Singtel’s Optus, Australia's second-biggest mobile-phone carrier, plans to cut as many as 480 jobs as it revamps its consumer and enterprise divisions and seeks sustainable growth.

SPH REIT posted 2Q distribution per unit of 1.4 cents, the same as the year before. Gross revenue for the quarter ended Feb grew 1.2% to $53.1 million from a year ago, lifted by higher rental income from Paragon and The Clementi Mall. The REIT also recorded an one-off provision for prior year property tax, which brought its property operating expenses to $12.5 million, up 2.3% from the year before. Net property income therefore came in just 0.9% higher at $40.6 million while income available for distribution to unitholders inched up 0.2% to $36.4 million.

Keppel Corp says Palmsville Investment, a subsidiary of its Keppel Land property arm, has sold its 70% stake in Quang Ba Royal Park Joint Venture Company to BRG Group Joint Stock Company. The consideration for the divestment was about $30.4 million.

Global Logistic Properties has completed its planned syndication of a 65.66% stake in the portfolio of US industrial assets that it acquired last year. The assets were sold for US$1.3 billion ($1.75 billion) in cash, subject to post-closing adjustments. The assets will no longer be the firm's subsidiaries and will become associated companies.

Frasers Property Australia, the Australian arm of Frasers Centrepoint, has sold a fully occupied office building in Church Street, Richmond, Melbourne for A$45.5 million ($47.1 million) to Blackrock Asset Management.
