SIA Engineering Company has signed a maintenance contract with Tigerair Australia to provide heavy maintenance services for the latter’s fleet of 14 A320-200 aircraft. The two-year contract, with an option to renew it for another year, will start in May 2016. SIA Engineering shares closed 0.79% higher at $3.81.
China Everbright Water has secured the Qingdao waste water treatment upgrading project at the Maidao Plant worth RMB 208 million ($43.7 million). The upgrading project will involve the reduction of the concentration of chemical oxygen demand and pollutants at the plant. China Everbright’s shares closed 2.27% higher at 67.5 cents.
China based developer Yanlord Land Group is jointly acquiring a land parcel in Tianjin for 2.37 billion yuan ($497.5 million). The land parcel has an GFA of 351,338 sqm in the Tianjin Hong Qiao District. The mixed use site includes high-end residential and commercial units as well as educational facilities. Shares of Yanlord Land closed 2.65% higher at $1.16.
IPS Securex Holdings, the security products and services provider, received two purchase orders with a total contract value of US$2.93 million ($4.02 million) to supply of Hyperspike acoustic hailing devices. Shares of IPS Securex traded at 17.5 cents on Tuesday.
GS Holdings, the centralised commercial dishware-washing company, says it has won a contract with a total annualised revenue of up to $1.2 million from Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. The counter closed flat at 26 cents on Tuesday.
Raffles Education Corporation is planning to acquire 100% interest in Santa Fe University of Art and Design in New Mexico, US. The acquisition will allow Raffles Education to “expand into the US and leverage its extensive student base in Asia.” Shares of Raffles Education closed at 22 cents on Tuesday.
