Frasers Centrepoint to issue US$200 mil five-year note at 2.5%

Frasers Centrepoint Limited plans to issue US$200 million ($269 million) in fixed rate notes through its wholly owned subsidiary FCL Treasury.

The net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes. This includes refinancing existing borrowing, financing investments and for general working capital needs.

The notes will be the seventh series issued under FCL's multicurrency debt issuance programme.

The interest rate for the notes is fixed at 2.5% per annum payable semi-annually in arrear.

Unless previously redeemed, purchased or cancelled, the notes will mature on July 21, 2021.

Units of Frasers Centrepoint closed 0.3% higher at $1.51.
