Marco Polo Marine announced last night it is set to terminate a newbuild contract valued at US$214.3 million for a jack-up rig under construction at Sembcorp Marine's 85%-owned PPL Shipyard. However, in a filing this morning, SembMarine says PPL has yet to receive the notice of termination. Marco Polo Marine and SembMarine closed at 21 cents and $2.25 respectively.
Q&M Dental Group will proceed with the spin-off and listing of 51%-owned dental materials manufacturer Qinhuangdao Aidite High Technical Ceramic Co. on China's New Third Board in Beijing. Q&M closed at 74 cents.
Construction and property group KSH Holdings is revising its bonus issue into one bonus share for every 13 existing shares held by shareholders instead of one for every eight. Shares in KSH closed at 61 cents.
Cityneon Holdings' wholly-owned subsidiary Dayspring Entertainment have won a deal which gives it exclusive rights to use the Transformers brand in connection with the staging of Exhibits of Transformers at approved venues in the world and also manufacture and sell its merchandise. Cityneon closed at 20 cents.
