Adding to an earlier, small rise, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJH4 -0.02% gained 27 points to 16,241, while those for the Standard & Poor’s 500 index SPH4 -0.05% gained 3.6 points to 1,818.70. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index NDH4 +0.05% added 8.5 points to 3,518.
