Twitter has rolled out special features for the event, including a set of “hashflags” — three-letter country codes, including #BRA for Brazil and #FRA for France, that bring up the relevant national flags when posted on a Twitter feed.
And Twitter’s efforts have already earned the company upbeat reviews from advertising and marketing executives.
