
The euro EURUSD, -0.23% fell as low as $1.0521, but later recovered to trade around $1.0573. The single currency traded at $1.0606 late Friday.
The dollar USDJPY, -0.24% traded at ¥120.11, little-changed from its Friday evening level.
The ICE dollar index DXY, +0.10% a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six currencies, rose 0.1% to 99.4820.
The disappointing data also pushed the commodity-linked Australian dollar AUDUSD, +0.11% lower to trade at $0.7589 from around $0.7680 late Friday in New York.
After initially moving lower on concerns about the coming U.K. election, the pound GBPUSD, -0.12% rose to $1.4680 from $1.4633 late Friday.
