SGX Stock Recommendations : Epic Research Singapore

MARKET UPDATES :

• The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 12.01 points or 0.35% higher to 3484.39, taking the year-to-date performance to +3.54%.

• The top active stocks today were SGX, which gained 2.31%, SingTel, which gained 0.23%, Keppel Corp, which gained 2.28%, Ezion, which gained 7.34% and DBS, with a 0.49% loss.

• The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained 0.32%, while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index rose 0.24%.

• The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Utilities Index, which rose 3.11%. The two biggest stocks of the Index – United Envirotech and Hyflux – ended 0.30% higher and 1.12% higher respectively.

• The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Technology Index, which slipped 1.40%. Silverlake Axis shares declined 3.11% and STATS ChipPAC remained unchanged.

• The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were : STI ETF (+0.29%), IS MSCI India (+1.12%), United SSE 50 China ETF (+1.42%)

• The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value were : Ascendas REIT (-1.13%), CapitaMall Trust (unchanged), CapitaCom Trust (+0.29%)

• The most active index warrants by value today were : HSI26000MBeCW150629 (+25.77%),HSI24000UBePW150828 (-17.24%),CN11000MBePW150730 (-12.86%)

• The most active stock warrants by value today were : HKExcMBeCW150703 (+48.50%), DBS MB eCW150915 (-2.38%), SGX MB eCW150803 (+10.14%)
