MARKET UPDATES :
- The Straits Times Index (STI) ended -0.84 points lower or -0.02% to 3452.91, taking the year-to-date performance to +2.61%.
- The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained +0.25% while the FTSE ST Small Cap
Index gained +0.57%. The top active stocks were UOB (+0.61%), CapitaLand
(+0.28%), SingTel (+0.68%), Wing Tai (+9.61%) and Ellipsiz (+2.84%).
- The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST
Technology Index (+1.95%). The two big- gest stocks of the FTSE ST
Technology Index are Silverlake Axis (+3.17%) and STATS ChipPAC
(unchanged). The underperforming sector was the FTSE ST Real Estate
Investment Trusts Index, which declined – 0.21% with CapitaMall Trust’s
share price gaining +0.45% and Ascendas REIT’s share price declining
-1.54%.
- The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today
were the SPDR Gold Shares (+1.57%), DBXT MSCI China TRN ETF 10 (+0.20%),
IS MSCI India (+1.27%).
- The three most active Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) by value
were CapitaMall Trust (+0.45%), Suntec REIT (+0.27%), Ascendas REIT
(-1.54%).
- The most active stock warrants by value today were UOB MB eCW150701
(+6.25%), OCBC Bk MBeCW150803 (-0.98%), CapitalaMBeCW150701 (+2.22%).
