Singapore Airlines’ final offer of 45 cents for the shares in Tiger Airways has been declared wholly unconditional after Singapore's flagship carrier on Monday morning waived the condition in its voluntary general offer for Tiger Air that required it and parties acting in concert with it to own more than 90% of Tiger Air by the close of the offer. Tiger Air last closed at 45 cents.
EMAS Offshore, the subsea division belonging to Ezra Holdings, said it posted a loss of US$1.06 million ($1.5 million) for the 1Q ended November due to sustained volatility and weakness in the oil price environment. The counter closed 1.19% higher at 17 cents on Friday.
Keppel Seghers Belgium NV, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Infrastructure Holdings, has handed over the Bialystok waste-to-energy combined heat and power project in Poland to the client on Dec 31. The project was delivered on schedule and on budget. Keppel closed 0.34% lower at $5.80 on Friday.
Olam International has acquired Amber Foods Limited, which through its 100% owned subsidiary Quintessential Foods Nigeria, owns the wheat milling and pasta manufacturing assets of the BUA Group in Nigeria, for a total enterprise value of US$275 million ($367 million). Olam closed 0.3% higher at $1.695.
Vard Holdings, the shipbuilder of offshore specialised vessels, announced that the first vessel from the group’s newest shipyard, Vard Promar in Brazil, was delivered on Jan 8. Vard closed 4.65% higher at 22.5 cents on Friday.
LMIRT Management, the manager of Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust, has agreed to acquire Lippo Mall Kuta, a three-storey retail mall which is located in Kuta, Bali, from sponsor PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. for a total cost of $92.7 million. LM Kuta a three-storey retail mall located in Kuta, Bali, that is to be integrated with a premium 180-room hotel. Lippo Malls Indonesia Retail Trust closed 1.56% lower at 31.5 cents on Friday.
